Parent Promise Announces Christina Siemens as Executive Director

OKLAHOMA CITY – Parent Promise/Prevent Child Abuse Oklahoma is proud to announce the hiring of Christina Siemens as the Executive Director. Siemens assumed the position on June 5, 2023, replacing Jodi Lewis, who was named Interim Executive Director in March 2023. Christina Siemens joins Parent Promise with over 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience including leadership positions at Fostering Connections, the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma, and the Parent Child Center of Tulsa.

She is passionate about our mission, and she has the knowledge, skills, and track-record to back it up. Chris is an innovative, thoughtful, and inclusive leader, and we think she is the perfect fit for Parent Promise as we continue our important work serving families and children in our community,” said Melanie Rughani, President of the Parent Promise Board of Directors.

Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Siemens earned her Associate’s degree in Science from Tulsa Community College, and her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Siemens also obtained a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University, and is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Beginning her career in Tulsa, she has served in the nonprofit sector for 17 years and specializes in grant writing, relationship cultivation, program administration, and nonprofit leadership. Christina is a proud foster/adoptive parent through the Department of Human Services and currently resides in Tulsa with her husband and seven children. Her interests include traveling, watching sporting events, and serving the Oklahoma community.
