Parent Promise is proud to announce the receipt of grants from two local foundations for resource development and services.

Parent Promise has received grants from the Philip Boyle Foundation and the Harris Foundation. The Philip Boyle Foundation was established to honor the philanthropic legacy of civic leader Philip Boyle. The foundation provides grants for human services, health and wellness and education.

The Harris Foundation provides grants to religious, charitable, educational, benevolent, or scientific institutions and organizations. Their focus is human services, art and cultural humanities, health and wellness and education.

“We are appreciative of the support from these two foundations,” said Sherry Fair, Parent Promise executive director. “We are proud to be expanding our services in Oklahoma County, and support from the Philip Boyle and Harris Foundations will help us achieve our goals of serving more families with better programs.”

Parent Promise is expanding its home visitation services to provide three evidence-based programs, including Parents as Teachers, Healthy Families America and Exchange Parent Aide.

“At Parent Promise, we believe every child has a fundamental right to grow, play and learn in a safe and secure environment,” Fair said. “We are excited to celebrate the increasing investment in helping children have healthy and happy childhoods so they can grow into healthy adults.”
