On Mother’s Day, No Mother Should Feel Alone

A mother’s most basic promise to her child should be to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment where that child can grow, learn and play. As stressful as the job of parenting is for mothers who have support and resources, just think about the difficulties faced by mothers who may be isolated from their family, are struggling to make ends meet or those who are trying to overcome adverse childhood experiences in their own past.

For nearly 30 years, Parent Promise has been working with mothers and families to empower them to find and connect with resources they need to be successful parents. In that time, we’ve worked with more than 6,000 families.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day this year, we ask that you think about those moms who may feel alone and lack access to the basic support systems and vital resources they need to provide for their families. By contributing to Parent Promise, you are helping us provide those moms the support they need.

By donating to Parent Promise, you are providing more families with one-on-one mentoring, developmental activities and informational resources, child development screenings, family resource connections and basic supplies, such as diapers, formula and clothing.

  • A donation of $500 provides 10 home visits by a trained parent educator.
  • $250 provides five home visits by a trained parent educator.
  • $100 provides two home visits by a trained parent educator.
  • $50 will provide diapers, formula or other items a family may need.

We make it easy to contribute by offering an online option to donate through a secured Paypal account. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
